Why Windows shows a warning

I am an independent developer building this app for free. Microsoft charges a yearly fee for a "code-signing certificate", and I can't pay it yet. Because of that, Windows may say "Windows protected your PC" the first time you open the file. That message appears for every app without a paid certificate. It does not mean the app is harmful.

How to open it

  1. Download the file only from this page.
  2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the steps. It installs only for you and does not ask for an administrator password.
  3. If you see "Windows protected your PC", click More info.
  4. Click Run anyway.

If you don't feel comfortable, you can use the free tools on this website instead. Nothing needs to be installed.

Mac

For Apple Macs (macOS).

Download for Mac

Works on Apple chip and Intel Macs (macOS 14 or newer). Free, about 3 MB.

Why your Mac shows a warning

I am an independent developer building this app for free. Apple charges a yearly fee to "notarize" apps, and I can't pay it yet. So your Mac may say the app can't be opened because Apple cannot check it. It's a standard warning for apps without that paid certificate.

How to open it

  1. Download the file only from this page, then open it and drag the app into Applications.
  2. Open the app. When the warning appears, click Done (or OK).
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
  4. Scroll down to the message about the app and click Open Anyway.
  5. Enter your Mac password and click Open. You only do this once.

On older Macs (before macOS 15) you can also right-click (or Control-click) the app and choose Open.
